I have added Manidhanaeyam Entrance Exam Previous Year Question Papers 2012 question set. This question paper is very easy one. There were questions from Current Affairs, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, General Knowledge, Facts, Geography and history. No questions were from Environmental Science and Indian culture. The questions were also asked from CSAT even though UPSC have just now released its new pattern of the exam with quantitative aptitude, Logical reasoning and English comprehension. If you have more doubts on the question paper then you can simply ask it in tnpscforum.com. There are only one series of question paper so there need not be any confusions on A type question or B type question.
This year the cutoff won’t be very high. It will be around 100 to 120 marks. Each question carries 1 mark so you have to attend 110 right answers. There are no negative marks so there won’t be any problem with the wrong answers. If there is a negative mark then there will be a greater chance of getting low marks. Only persons with high accuracy can clear. The question paper is easy when compared with All India Civil Service Coaching Centre entrance exam. Even though the logical reasoning and quantitative aptitude seem to be easy there were some factual questions which were in the trend of TNPSC. Such questions demand us to remember the year of incidents which is not required for UPSC exams. Even though we have to remember the chronological order the exact year is not important. Some questions were also from sports. UPSC have left asking questions from sports which is not necessary for a bureaucrat. Less conceptual questions were asked. Eg: We expected some questions like what made euro crisis and what were the impact of the euro crisis. but the questions were of the simple form. Which of the following country were affected because of Euro Sovereign debt crisis. The year of Ban Ki-moon assuming his office is a fact based useless question.
