I am sbc (special backward class) candidate in Maharashtra. My father works in MBPT(Mumbai Port Trust) as class 3 employee and has income above 8 lakhs. I am not sure whether MBPT is considered central govt or psu or any other job. Can i get non creamy layer ?

Is Mumbai Port Trust a PSU or not?
So First let me answer a question. What is PSU?
An organisation which is owned by the government. Where majority shares are with govt. That is greater than or equal to 51%.
If Govt share is 100% then it does not comes under PSU.
Mumbai Port Trust is 100% owned by govt. So you are eligible for OBC Non Creamy Layer.
